LocalLingo is currently validated with the Tencent HY-MT1.5 1.8B Q4_K_M GGUF translation model. The upstream model is provided by Tencent and is available from the Tencent Hugging Face model repository.

Tencent HY-MT1.5 is provided under the Tencent HY Community License. The license includes important usage restrictions and excludes use in the European Union, United Kingdom, and South Korea.

Model Download
LocalLingo does not embed the model file in this web repository. The iOS app may allow users to download a compatible model from the upstream model host where permitted by applicable license terms and App Store availability settings.
Runtime Components
LocalLingo uses a local GGUF runtime based on llama.cpp-compatible components. Runtime and dependency licenses should be reviewed before production release.
